This method involves visual condition survey and pavement distress assessment, where we conduct direct observations on each lane and direction at an average speed of 30 - 40 km/h using an SDI survey vehicle. Pavement distress recording is conducted every 10 meters/100 meters, allowing us to obtain in-depth data regarding the location of distress (based on stations), distress type, severity level of distress, estimated distress area, and documentation.
The data that we obtained from this survey serves as the main foundation for decision-making regarding road maintenance, repair, and development of infrastructure, making surface digital image a crucial tool for road maintenance and enhancement.
